Lecture Symposium Report
Our visiting lecturers from Beijing, began their talk, by outlining the problems of removal and demolition of dangerous housing in order to facilitate city redesign, whilst considering the degree of concern, and views of inhabitants, yet also bearing in mind anti-terrorism measures associated with the Olympics. SARS is a concern that must also be borne in mind, particularly with regard to the prompt measures that need to be taken in either eventuality occurring.
